1. Who we are
FurnishMatch is operated by Quanzhou Taiyi Network Technology Co., Ltd. (泉州太一网络科技有限公司). Questions and privacy requests can be sent to legal@furnishmatch.com.
2. Information we handle
- Room content: room photos you upload, image format and size information, and derived versions needed to check, analyze, or display the image.
- Design details: room type, style preference, budget range, photo-quality results, room analysis, recommendations, and preview status.
- Account and session information: an email-shaped value used by the current sign-up flow, account or guest identifiers, session records, credits or feature-use records, and security-related device signals.
- Referral and usage information: referral attribution, page or feature events generated in the browser, and basic request information such as time, browser, device, or network data when available to our application or hosting provider.
- Messages: information you choose to send to our support or legal addresses.
3. How we use information
- Provide, maintain, and improve the room-design experience you request.
- Check image quality, analyze a room, match furniture ideas, and produce requested previews.
- Maintain sessions, apply usage limits or credits, attribute referrals, and prevent abuse or fraud.
- Diagnose errors, protect users and the service, respond to support requests, and comply with legal obligations.
- Understand feature use when an analytics or event-processing service is configured.
4. AI and service providers
FurnishMatch may use service providers for hosting, databases, S3-compatible object storage, image processing, security, and AI room analysis. When the supported OpenAI vision provider is enabled, the server may send a controlled image reference or image content, together with the instructions needed to perform the requested room analysis.
When you request Try in My Room, FurnishMatch may send your room image and selected product reference image to a configured AI service solely to generate the preview you requested. The resulting preview is visual guidance only and does not guarantee precise dimensions, color, placement, fit, or appearance.
5. Cookies and similar technology
FurnishMatch uses first-party cookies or comparable identifiers to keep a guest or account session active, support device-security checks, and remember referral attribution. These functions are needed to operate or protect the current service. Browser code may also create local feature events; the current interface does not by itself mean that a third-party advertising tracker is active.
You can control cookies through your browser, but blocking required session cookies may prevent account, design, credit, or referral features from working correctly.
6. When information is shared
We may disclose information to vendors that process it for FurnishMatch, to protect the service or another person, during a lawful business reorganization, or when required by law. We do not currently sell room photos or account information for money. Product links may take you to independent merchants, whose data practices are governed by their own policies.
7. Storage, security, and international processing
Depending on deployment configuration, design records may be stored in PostgreSQL and images in S3-compatible object storage. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information and service, but no online system can guarantee absolute security.
Our company and service providers may process information in countries different from yours. Privacy and data-protection rules can vary between jurisdictions.
8. Retention and deletion
We keep information only while it is reasonably needed to provide and protect the service, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, maintain required records, or meet legal obligations. Different records and image assets may have different retention periods. A deletion request may take time to complete and may not remove information that must be retained for security, anti-fraud, backup, or legal reasons.
9. Your choices and requests
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of certain personal information, or to object to or restrict some processing. Email legal@furnishmatch.com. We may ask for reasonable verification and may decline or limit a request where permitted or required by law, or where necessary to protect security and other users.
10. Children's privacy
FurnishMatch is a general-audience service and is not directed to children under 13. Do not submit a child's personal information or room photo on their behalf without appropriate authority. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information, contact legal@furnishmatch.com.
11. Changes to this policy
We may revise this policy as the service, providers, or legal requirements change. We will post the revised version here and update the effective date. Material changes may also be highlighted in the service when appropriate.
